Koran 17:82 — soera Al-Isra, vers 82

وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ ٱلۡقُرۡءَانِ مَا هُوَ شِفَآءٞ وَرَحۡمَةٞ لِّلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ وَلَا يَزِيدُ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ إِلَّا خَسَارٗا

En Wij zenden datgene van de Qor-aan neer wat een genezing is (van zowel de lichamelijke en geestelijke aandoeningen) en een genade is voor degenen die (hierin) geloven. En voor de onrechtplegers (dat is ieder die zijn rug keert van de openbaring) vergroot dit niets anders dan (hun) verlies.

And We send down of the Qur'an that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss

• Hilali & Khan: And We send down of the Qur’ân that which is a healing and a mercy to those who believe (in Islâmic Monotheism and act on it), and it increases the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) nothing but loss.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We send down the Qur’an as a healing and mercy for the believers, but it does not increase the wrongdoers except in loss.
