Koran 16:97 — soera An-Nahl, vers 97

مَنۡ عَمِلَ صَٰلِحٗا مِّن ذَكَرٍ أَوۡ أُنثَىٰ وَهُوَ مُؤۡمِنٞ فَلَنُحۡيِيَنَّهُۥ حَيَوٰةٗ طَيِّبَةٗۖ وَلَنَجۡزِيَنَّهُمۡ أَجۡرَهُم بِأَحۡسَنِ مَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ

Al wie goede daden verricht – of het nu om mannen of vrouwen gaat – in de staat van een ware gelovige (door afstand te nemen van ongeloof, ongehoorzaamheid en zonden), schenken Wij een begerenswaardig leven (gevuld met ware geluk en voldoening en toegestane voorzieningen) en (in het hiernamaals) zullen Wij hen vast en zeker een beloning geven die in overeenstemming zal zijn met het beste van de verrichte daden.

Whoever does righteousness, whether male or female, while he is a believer - We will surely cause him to live a good life, and We will surely give them their reward [in the Hereafter] according to the best of what they used to do

• Hilali & Khan: Whoever works righteousness - whether male or female - while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islâmic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Whoever does righteous deeds, male or female, while being a believer, We will surely grant him a good life, and We will surely reward them according to the best of their deeds.
