Koran 16:53 — soera An-Nahl, vers 53

وَمَا بِكُم مِّن نِّعۡمَةٖ فَمِنَ ٱللَّهِۖ ثُمَّ إِذَا مَسَّكُمُ ٱلضُّرُّ فَإِلَيۡهِ تَجۡـَٔرُونَ

En alles wat jullie aan gunsten en goede (wereldse of spirituele) zaken hebben, komt van Allah (en van Allah alléén). Als jullie dan geraakt worden door een beproefing (zoals een plotse ziekte, armoede of een andere extreme situatie), dan roepen (en smeken) jullie Hem (instinctief en) luid om hulp.

And whatever you have of favor - it is from Allah. Then when adversity touches you, to Him you cry for help
