Koran 15:9 — soera Al-Hijr, vers 9

إِنَّا نَحۡنُ نَزَّلۡنَا ٱلذِّكۡرَ وَإِنَّا لَهُۥ لَحَٰفِظُونَ

Waarlijk! Wij waren het die de ‘Dzikr’ (de Koran) naar beneden stuurden, dus zullen ook Wij er over waken!

Indeed, it is We who sent down the Qur'an and indeed, We will be its guardian

• Hilali & Khan: Verily, We, it is We Who have sent down the Dhikr (i.e. the Qur’ân) and surely, We will guard it (from corruption).
