Koran 14:34 — soera Ibrahim, vers 34

وَءَاتَىٰكُم مِّن كُلِّ مَا سَأَلۡتُمُوهُۚ وَإِن تَعُدُّواْ نِعۡمَتَ ٱللَّهِ لَا تُحۡصُوهَآۗ إِنَّ ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَ لَظَلُومٞ كَفَّارٞ

En Hij heeft jullie alles gegeven waarom jullie gevraagd hebben, En als jullie de (ontelbare) gunsten van Allah willen tellen, dan zullen jullie daar nooit (ofte nimmer) toe in staat zijn. Waarlijk! De mens is inderdaad een bijzondere grote zondaar – een ongelovige.

And He gave you from all you asked of Him. And if you should count the favor of Allah, you could not enumerate them. Indeed, mankind is [generally] most unjust and ungrateful

• Hilali & Khan: And He gave you of all that you asked for, and if you count the Blessings of Allâh, never will you be able to count them. Verily, man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate who denies Allâh’s Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allâh, and by disobeying Allâh and His Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And He gave you of all that you have asked for. If you try to count the blessings of Allah, you cannot count them. Indeed, mankind is truly unjust and ungrateful.
