Koran 11:78 — soera Hud, vers 78

وَجَآءَهُۥ قَوۡمُهُۥ يُهۡرَعُونَ إِلَيۡهِ وَمِن قَبۡلُ كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِۚ قَالَ يَٰقَوۡمِ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ بَنَاتِي هُنَّ أَطۡهَرُ لَكُمۡۖ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَلَا تُخۡزُونِ فِي ضَيۡفِيٓۖ أَلَيۡسَ مِنكُمۡ رَجُلٞ رَّشِيدٞ

En de mensen haastten zich tot hem, en sinds lange tijd plachten zij misdaden te bedrijven, hij zei: “O mijn mensen! Hier zijn mijn dochters (van de gemeenschap), zij zijn zuiverder voor jullie (om mee te trouwen inplaats van met mannen). Vrees Allah dus en verlaag mij niet met betrekking tot mijn gasten! Is er onder jullie dan geen enkele rechtvaardige man?”

And his people came hastening to him, and before [this] they had been doing evil deeds. He said, "O my people, these are my daughters; they are purer for you. So fear Allah and do not disgrace me concerning my guests. Is there not among you a man of reason

Here are my daughters (i.e. the women of the nation), they are purer for you (if you marry them lawfully). So fear Allâh and degrace me not with regard to my guests! Is there not among you a single right-minded man?"
