Coran 9:36 — sourate At-Tawbah, verset 36

إِنَّ عِدَّةَ ٱلشُّهُورِ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ٱثۡنَا عَشَرَ شَهۡرٗا فِي كِتَٰبِ ٱللَّهِ يَوۡمَ خَلَقَ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضَ مِنۡهَآ أَرۡبَعَةٌ حُرُمٞۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُۚ فَلَا تَظۡلِمُواْ فِيهِنَّ أَنفُسَكُمۡۚ وَقَٰتِلُواْ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ كَآفَّةٗ كَمَا يُقَٰتِلُونَكُمۡ كَآفَّةٗۚ وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّ ٱللَّهَ مَعَ ٱلۡمُتَّقِينَ

Allah a décrété, le jour où Il a créé les cieux et la terre, que l’année se composerait de douze mois, dont quatre sont sacrés. Tel est l’ordre établi par Allah. Que nul ne se montre injuste durant ces mois. Rassemblez vos forces contre les idolâtres, de même qu’ils font bloc contre vous, et sachez qu’Allah est avec ceux qui Le craignent.

Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him]

• Noor International Center (fr): Pour Allah, et tel qu’il fut prescrit dans Son Livre le jour où Il créa les cieux et la terre, les mois sont au nombre de douze, dont quatre sont sacrés. Telle est la religion droite. Ne soyez donc pas injustes envers vous-mêmes pendant ces mois. Livrez combat, tous ensemble, à tous les associâtres, comme ils vous livrent combat, tous ensemble, et sachez qu’Allah est avec ceux qui Le craignent.
• Hilali & Khan: Verily, the number of months with Allâh is twelve months (in a year), so was it ordained by Allâh on the Day when He created the heavens and the earth; of them four are Sacred (i.e. the 1st, the 7th, the 11th and the 12th months of the Islâmic calendar). That is the right religion, so wrong not yourselves therein, and fight against the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh) collectively as they fight against you collectively. But know that Allâh is with those who are Al-Muttaqûn (the pious - See V.2:2).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): The number of months with Allah is twelve, in the Record of Allah since the day He created the heavens and earth; of which four are sacred. This is the straight way, so do not wrong yourselves during these months, and fight the polytheists all together, just as they fight you all together. And know that Allah is with those who fear Him.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 9:36

Allah définit, décréta et écrivit dans la Tablette Préservée au début de la création des Cieux et de la Terre, que le nombre de mois sera de douze. De ces douze mois, il y en a quatre durant lesquels le combat fut déclaré illicite: trois qui se suivent (Dhû al-Qi’dah, Dhû al-Ħijjah et Muħarram) et un à part (Rajab). Cette mention du nombre de mois dans l’année et de la sacralité de quatre d’entre eux fait bien partie de la religion. Ne soyez donc pas injustes à l’égard de vous-mêmes en combattant durant ces Mois Sacrés et en violant leur sacralité. Combattez tous les polythéistes sans exception, comme eux vous combattent sans exception et sachez qu’Allah est avec ceux qui Le craignent, se conforment à ce qu’Il ordonne et délaissent ce qu’Il défend. Il les soutient en les secourant et en les raffermissant. Or celui avec qui est Allah ne pourra être vaincu par personne.
