Coran 8:61 — sourate Al-Anfal, verset 61

۞وَإِن جَنَحُواْ لِلسَّلۡمِ فَٱجۡنَحۡ لَهَا وَتَوَكَّلۡ عَلَى ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ

Mais s’ils t’offrent la paix, accepte leur proposition, en plaçant ta confiance en Allah, Celui qui entend tout et sait tout.

And if they incline to peace, then incline to it [also] and rely upon Allah. Indeed, it is He who is the Hearing, the Knowing

• Noor International Center (fr): Et s’ils penchent pour la paix, penche (de même) pour elle ; mets ta confiance en Allah, car c’est Lui Qui Entend Tout et c’est Lui l’Omniscient.
• Hilali & Khan: But if they incline to peace, you also incline to it, and (put your) trust in Allâh. Verily, He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): If they incline to peace, then incline to it, and put your trust in Allah, for He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 8:61

S’ils penchent pour la paix et l’arrêt des hostilités, aie le même penchant ô Messager puis conclus un traité avec eux, en t’en remettant à Allah et en plaçant ta confiance en Lui. Il est certes Celui qui ne t’abandonnera jamais. Il entend les paroles qu’ils prononcent, connaît leurs intentions et leurs agissements.
