Coran 7:78 — sourate Al-A'raf, verset 78

فَأَخَذَتۡهُمُ ٱلرَّجۡفَةُ فَأَصۡبَحُواْ فِي دَارِهِمۡ جَٰثِمِينَ

Saisis par le Cataclysme, ils se retrouvèrent sans vie, gisants sur leurs terres.

So the earthquake seized them, and they became within their home [corpses] fallen prone

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 7:78

Le châtiment que les mécréants voulaient hâter les surpris. Un matin, un terrible séisme les saisit et ils se retrouvèrent gisants inconscients, les visages et les genoux contre le sol. Aucun d’eux n’échappa à cet anéantissement.
