Coran 7:190 — sourate Al-A'raf, verset 190

فَلَمَّآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَا صَٰلِحٗا جَعَلَا لَهُۥ شُرَكَآءَ فِيمَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمَاۚ فَتَعَٰلَى ٱللَّهُ عَمَّا يُشۡرِكُونَ

Mais lorsqu’Il leur fait don d’un enfant sain, ils vouent un culte à d’autres que Lui à travers cela même qu’Il leur a accordé. Allah est bien au-dessus des fausses divinités qu’ils associent à Son adoration.

But when He gives them a good [child], they ascribe partners to Him concerning that which He has given them. Exalted is Allah above what they associate with Him

• Noor International Center (fr): (Pourtant), lorsqu’il leur eut accordé un (enfant) sain, ils Lui associèrent (des émules) pour ce qu’Il leur avait accordé. Mais Allah est au-dessus de ce qu’ils Lui associaient.
• Hilali & Khan: But when He gave them (the polytheist and his wife) a Sâlih (good in every aspect) child, they ascribed partners to Him (Allâh) in that which He has given to them. High be Allâh, Exalted above all that they ascribe as partners to Him. (Tafsir Ibn Kathir).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But when He gave them a healthy child, they ascribed partners to Him in that which He had given them. Exalted is Allah far above what they ascribe to Him.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 7:190

Puis lorsqu’Allah exauça leur invocation et leur donna un enfant sain comme ils le Lui demandèrent, ceux-ci attribuèrent à Allah des associés et firent de leur enfant le serviteur d’une autre divinité qu’Allah en l’appelant ‘Abdu l-Ħârithi (serviteur d’Al-Ħârith). Allah est au-dessus de tout associé, Il est le Seul à être le détenteur de l’attribut de la seigneurie et de la divinité.
