Coran 7:185 — sourate Al-A'raf, verset 185

أَوَلَمۡ يَنظُرُواْ فِي مَلَكُوتِ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا خَلَقَ ٱللَّهُ مِن شَيۡءٖ وَأَنۡ عَسَىٰٓ أَن يَكُونَ قَدِ ٱقۡتَرَبَ أَجَلُهُمۡۖ فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثِۭ بَعۡدَهُۥ يُؤۡمِنُونَ

N’ont-ils pas contemplé l’immensité du royaume des cieux et de la terre et tout ce qu’Allah a créé, et songé que le terme de leur vie est peut-être imminent ? Quels avertissements, après ceux-ci, prendront-ils au sérieux ?

Do they not look into the realm of the heavens and the earth and everything that Allah has created and [think] that perhaps their appointed time has come near? So in what statement hereafter will they believe

• Noor International Center (fr): N’ont-ils donc pas considéré la royauté des cieux et de la terre, et toute chose qu’Allah a créée ? (Ne voient-ils donc pas) que leur terme peut être tout proche ? En quelle autre parole, après celle-là, vont-ils croire ?
• Hilali & Khan: Do they not look in the dominion of the heavens and the earth and all things that Allâh has created; and that it may be that the end of their lives is near. In what message after this will they then believe?
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Have they not observed the dominions of the heavens and earth and all that Allah has created, and that the end of their term might be near? In what message after this [Qur’an] will they then believe?

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 7:185

Ceux-là n’ont-ils pas raisonné et essayé de comprendre ce qu’était le Royaume d’Allah dans les Cieux et sur la Terre? N’ont-ils pas contemplé les animaux, les plantes et les autres êtres qu’Allah a créés? N’ont-ils pas réfléchi sur l’échéance de leurs morts qui pourrait être proche et se repentir avant qu’il ne soit trop tard? S’ils ne croient ni au Coran, ni à la promesse et la menace qu’il contient, en quel autre livre croiront-ils?
