Coran 7:17 — sourate Al-A'raf, verset 17

ثُمَّ لَأٓتِيَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَيۡنِ أَيۡدِيهِمۡ وَمِنۡ خَلۡفِهِمۡ وَعَنۡ أَيۡمَٰنِهِمۡ وَعَن شَمَآئِلِهِمۡۖ وَلَا تَجِدُ أَكۡثَرَهُمۡ شَٰكِرِينَ

Je viendrai les tenter par tous les moyens. Rares sont ceux que Tu trouveras reconnaissants. »

Then I will come to them from before them and from behind them and on their right and on their left, and You will not find most of them grateful [to You]

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 7:17

Ensuite, je les attaquerai de tous côtés, faisant en sorte qu’ils méprisent l’au-delà, qu’ils désirent ce bas monde, qu’ils soient embrouillés par des ambigüités et que les plaisirs leur soient embellis. Ô Seigneur, Tu verras que la plupart d’entre eux ne Te seront pas reconnaissants et tomberons, à cause de mes insufflations, dans la mécréance.
