Coran 5:41 — sourate Al-Ma'idah, verset 41

۞يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلرَّسُولُ لَا يَحۡزُنكَ ٱلَّذِينَ يُسَٰرِعُونَ فِي ٱلۡكُفۡرِ مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ ءَامَنَّا بِأَفۡوَٰهِهِمۡ وَلَمۡ تُؤۡمِن قُلُوبُهُمۡۛ وَمِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ هَادُواْۛ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِلۡكَذِبِ سَمَّـٰعُونَ لِقَوۡمٍ ءَاخَرِينَ لَمۡ يَأۡتُوكَۖ يُحَرِّفُونَ ٱلۡكَلِمَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِ مَوَاضِعِهِۦۖ يَقُولُونَ إِنۡ أُوتِيتُمۡ هَٰذَا فَخُذُوهُ وَإِن لَّمۡ تُؤۡتَوۡهُ فَٱحۡذَرُواْۚ وَمَن يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ فِتۡنَتَهُۥ فَلَن تَمۡلِكَ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِ شَيۡـًٔاۚ أُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ ٱلَّذِينَ لَمۡ يُرِدِ ٱللَّهُ أَن يُطَهِّرَ قُلُوبَهُمۡۚ لَهُمۡ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا خِزۡيٞۖ وَلَهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

Messager ! Ne sois pas affligé par ceux qui se précipitent vers l’impiété, tant parmi les hypocrites qui s’affirment croyants, mais dont les cœurs ignorent la foi, que parmi les juifs qui prêtent volontiers l’oreille aux mensonges proférés par des hommes qui fuient ta compagnie et qui, alors qu’ils falsifient les Ecritures, affirment : « Si ses jugements sont conformes à nos textes, acceptons-les. Sinon, gardons-nous-en ! » Tu ne saurais préserver du dessein d’Allah ceux qu’Il entend éprouver. Voilà ceux dont Allah ne veut pas purifier les cœurs et qui seront exposés à l’ignominie ici-bas, avant de connaître d’affreux tourments dans l’au-delà.

O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] usages, saying "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah. Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment

• Noor International Center (fr): Ô Messager ! Ne sois point affligé par ceux qui se hâtent vers la mécréance parmi ceux qui se disent croyants par la bouche et n’ont jamais cru par le cœur ; ni ceux qui, s’étant judaïsés, écoutent attentivement le mensonge et aiment tendre l’oreille à d’autres gens qui ne sont jamais venus vers toi. Ils altèrent le sens des mots déjà établi et disent : « Si vous avez reçu ceci, prenez-le, et si vous ne l’avez pas reçu, méfiez-vous en ! » Celui qu’Allah veut soumettre à l’épreuve du désarroi, tu ne pourras rien pour lui. Ceux dont Allah n’entend pas purifier les cœurs seront marqués d’infamie dans ce bas monde, et auront dans l’autre un terrible supplice.
• Hilali & Khan: O Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم)! Let not those who hurry to fall into disbelief grieve you, of such who say: "We believe" with their mouths but their hearts have no faith. And of the Jews are men who listen much and eagerly to lies - listen to others who have not come to you. They change the words from their places; they say, "If you are given this, take it, but if you are not given this, then beware!" And whomsoever Allâh wants to put in Al-Fitnah [error, because of his rejecting of Faith], you can do nothing for him against Allâh. Those are the ones whose hearts Allâh does not want to purify (from disbelief and hypocrisy); for them there is a disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter a great torment.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O Messenger, do not grieve for those who rush to disbelief – those who say with their mouths, “We believe”, but their hearts have no faith, nor those Jews who eagerly listen to falsehood and to those who have not yet come to you. They distort the words [of Allah] out of their context saying, “If you are given this [ruling] accept it, but if you are not given, then beware.” Whoever Allah wills to be misguided, there is nothing you can do to avail him against Allah. They are those whose hearts Allah did not will to purify. For them there is disgrace in this world, and in the Hereafter they will suffer a great punishment.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 5:41

Ô Messager, ne te laisse pas attrister par les hypocrites qui s’empressent d’agir en mécréants afin de t’irriter, font semblant qu’ils sont croyants et dissimulent la mécréance. Ne te laisse pas non plus attrister par les juifs qui écoutent les mensonges de leurs savants et les acceptent, imitant leurs chefs qui ne se sont pas rendus auprès de toi parce qu’ils contestent ta qualité de prophète, en plus de modifier les paroles d’Allah dans la Torah selon ce que dictent leurs passions. Ils disent à leurs disciples: Si le jugement de Muħammad est compatible avec vos passions, suivez-le et s’il s’y oppose, prenez-y garde. Celui qu’Allah veut égarer, tu ne lui trouveras, ô Messager, aucun allié capable de l’éloigner de l’égarement et de le guider vers le chemin de la vérité. Les juifs et les hypocrites qui possèdent ces caractéristiques sont ceux dont Allah n’a pas voulu purifier les cœurs. Ils auront droit à l’ignominie et au déshonneur ici-bas et dans l’au-delà, ils subiront un châtiment terrible: le châtiment du Feu.
