Coran 5:30 — sourate Al-Ma'idah, verset 30

فَطَوَّعَتۡ لَهُۥ نَفۡسُهُۥ قَتۡلَ أَخِيهِ فَقَتَلَهُۥ فَأَصۡبَحَ مِنَ ٱلۡخَٰسِرِينَ

Mais son âme l’incita à tuer son frère, geste qui provoqua sa perte.

And his soul permitted to him the murder of his brother, so he killed him and became among the losers

• Noor International Center (fr): Son âme le persuada de tuer son frère et il le tua. Il se retrouva ainsi du nombre des perdants.
• Hilali & Khan: So the Nafs (self) of the other (latter one) encouraged him and made fair-seeming to him the murder of his brother; he murdered him and became one of the losers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But the former justified to himself the killing of his brother and killed him, and thus became one of the losers.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 5:30

L’âme de Caïn, incitatrice au mal, lui suggéra de tuer injustement son frère et il succomba à cette pulsion meurtrière. Il rejoignit ainsi le nombre de ceux qui ont réduit leur part de bien ici-bas et dans l’au-delà.
