Coran 42:47 — sourate Ash-Shuraa, verset 47

ٱسۡتَجِيبُواْ لِرَبِّكُم مِّن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَ يَوۡمٞ لَّا مَرَدَّ لَهُۥ مِنَ ٱللَّهِۚ مَا لَكُم مِّن مَّلۡجَإٖ يَوۡمَئِذٖ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّكِيرٖ

Répondez à l’appel de votre Seigneur avant l’avènement d’un jour décrété par Allah que nul ne pourra repousser. Rien, ce Jour-là, ne pourra vous mettre à l’abri du châtiment et vous ne pourrez contester vos péchés.

Respond to your Lord before a Day comes from Allah of which there is no repelling. No refuge will you have that day, nor for you will there be any denial

• Noor International Center (fr): Répondez donc à l’appel de votre Seigneur avant que n’arrive un jour qu’Allah ne différera pas. Ce jour-là, vous n’aurez point de refuge, ni d’endroit où vous dissimuler.
• Hilali & Khan: Answer the Call of your Lord (i.e. accept the Islâmic Monotheism, O mankind, and jinn) before there comes from Allâh a Day which cannot be averted (i.e. the Day of Resurrection). You will have no refuge on that Day nor there will be for you any denying (of your crimes as they are all recorded in the Book of your deeds).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Respond to your Lord before there comes from Allah a Day that cannot be averted. On that Day you will have no refuge, nor will you be able to deny [your sins].

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 42:47

Ô gens, répondez favorablement à votre Seigneur, en vous empressant de vous conformer à Ses commandements et de renoncer à Ses interdits et en cessant de reporter votre repentir, avant que le Jour de la Résurrection ne vous surprenne. Si ce jour survenait, personne ne pourrait s’en prémunir. Vous ne trouverez alors aucun refuge pour vous abriter et vous ne pourrez nier les péchés que vous avez commis dans le bas monde.
