Coran 4:159 — sourate An-Nisa, verset 159

وَإِن مِّنۡ أَهۡلِ ٱلۡكِتَٰبِ إِلَّا لَيُؤۡمِنَنَّ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ مَوۡتِهِۦۖ وَيَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ يَكُونُ عَلَيۡهِمۡ شَهِيدٗا

Il n’est personne, parmi les gens du Livre, qui ne croira en Jésus avant sa mort. Et le Jour de la résurrection, il témoignera contre eux.

And there is none from the People of the Scripture but that he will surely believe in Jesus before his death. And on the Day of Resurrection he will be against them a witness

• Hilali & Khan: And there is none of the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) but must believe in him [‘Îsâ (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary), as only a Messenger of Allâh and a human being] before his [‘Îsâ (Jesus) عليه السلام) or a Jew’s or a Christian’s] death (at the time of the appearance of the angel of death). And on the Day of Resurrection, he [‘Îsâ (Jesus)] will be a witness against them.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): There will be none from the People of the Book but will believe in him [upon his return] before his death, and on the Day of Resurrection, he will be a witness against them.

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 4:159

Toute personne appartenant aux Gens du Livre croira en Jésus après son retour à la Fin des Temps (`âkhiru z-zamâni) et avant qu’il ne meure. Le Jour de la Résurrection, Jésus témoignera de leurs agissements: ceux qui sont conformes à la religion et ceux qui y contreviennent.
