Coran 38:34 — sourate Sad, verset 34

وَلَقَدۡ فَتَنَّا سُلَيۡمَٰنَ وَأَلۡقَيۡنَا عَلَىٰ كُرۡسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدٗا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ

Nous avons éprouvé Salomon en plaçant sur son trône un corps, avant qu’il ne revienne à Nous, plein de repentir.

And We certainly tried Solomon and placed on his throne a body; then he returned

• Noor International Center (fr): Nous avons aussi éprouvé Salomon en mettant sur son trône un corps. Mais il est ensuite revenu vers Nous, repentant.
• Hilali & Khan: And indeed, We did try Sulaimân (Solomon) and We placed on his throne Jasad (a devil, so he lost his kingdom for a while) and he did return (to Allâh with obedience and in repentance, and to his throne and kingdom by the Grace of Allâh).

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 38:34

Nous avons éprouvé Salomon et avons placé sur son trône un démon ayant une apparence humaine qui régna une courte période sur son royaume, puis Salomon récupéra son royaume et son ascendant sur les démons.
