Coran 37:71 — sourate As-Saffat, verset 71

وَلَقَدۡ ضَلَّ قَبۡلَهُمۡ أَكۡثَرُ ٱلۡأَوَّلِينَ

La plupart des peuples se sont avant eux égarés.

And there had already strayed before them most of the former peoples
