Coran 3:81 — sourate Ali 'Imran, verset 81

وَإِذۡ أَخَذَ ٱللَّهُ مِيثَٰقَ ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ لَمَآ ءَاتَيۡتُكُم مِّن كِتَٰبٖ وَحِكۡمَةٖ ثُمَّ جَآءَكُمۡ رَسُولٞ مُّصَدِّقٞ لِّمَا مَعَكُمۡ لَتُؤۡمِنُنَّ بِهِۦ وَلَتَنصُرُنَّهُۥۚ قَالَ ءَأَقۡرَرۡتُمۡ وَأَخَذۡتُمۡ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكُمۡ إِصۡرِيۖ قَالُوٓاْ أَقۡرَرۡنَاۚ قَالَ فَٱشۡهَدُواْ وَأَنَا۠ مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلشَّـٰهِدِينَ

Allah prit des prophètes cet engagement : « Si, après avoir reçu de Ma part les Ecritures et la Sagesse, un Messager vous vient, confirmant la révélation que vous détenez, vous devrez croire en lui et le soutenir. Y consentez-vous et prenez-vous solennellement cet engagement ? » Ils répondirent : « Nous y consentons. » Il dit : « Soyez-en témoins. Je suis avec vous de ceux qui en témoignent. »

And [recall, O People of the Scripture], when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], "Whatever I give you of the Scripture and wisdom and then there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you [must] believe in him and support him." [Allah] said, "Have you acknowledged and taken upon that My commitment?" They said, "We have acknowledged it." He said, "Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses

• Noor International Center (fr): Et quand Allah prit un engagement sur les Prophètes, Il leur dit : « Si un Messager vient vous confirmer le Livre et la Sagesse que Je vous ai déjà donnés, croyez en lui, et soutenez-le. » Puis Il ajouta : « Le consentez-vous et le tiendrez-vous (cet engagement) ? » Ils dirent : « Nous le consentons. » Il dit : « Soyez-en témoins et Je suis avec vous parmi les témoins. »
• Hilali & Khan: And (remember) when Allâh took the Covenant of the Prophets, saying: "Take whatever I gave you from the Book and Hikmah (understanding of the Laws of Allâh), and afterwards there will come to you a Messenger (Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) confirming what is with you; you must, then, believe in him and help him." Allâh said: "Do you agree (to it) and will you take up My Covenant (which I conclude with you)?" They said: "We agree." He said: "Then bear witness; and I am with you among the witnesses (for this)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And [remember] when Allah took the covenant of the prophets, [saying], “After I have given you the Book and wisdom, if there comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, then you must believe in him and support him.” Allah said, “Do you affirm this covenant and accept this commitment?” They said, “Yes, we do.” He said, “Then bear witness and I am with you among the witnesses.”

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 3:81

Rappelle-toi ô Messager lorsqu’Allah obtint des prophètes l’engagement suivant: Quel que soit le livre que Je vous révèle et la sagesse que Je vous enseigne, et quel que soit le rang que l’un de vous atteint, lorsqu’un Messager (Muħammad) envoyé par Moi viendra confirmer le Livre et la Sagesse que vous détenez, vous devrez croire en lui, vous devrez le soutenir et le suivre. Acceptez-vous cela, ô prophètes, et concluez-vous un pacte solennel à ce propos? Ils répondirent: Nous acceptons. Allah dit alors: Soyez témoins contre vous-mêmes et vos communautés et Moi aussi Je suis témoin contre vous et contre eux.
