Coran 27:39 — sourate An-Naml, verset 39

قَالَ عِفۡرِيتٞ مِّنَ ٱلۡجِنِّ أَنَا۠ ءَاتِيكَ بِهِۦ قَبۡلَ أَن تَقُومَ مِن مَّقَامِكَۖ وَإِنِّي عَلَيۡهِ لَقَوِيٌّ أَمِينٞ

Un djinn redoutable répondit : « Je te l’apporterai séance tenante. Voilà une tâche dont je saurai m’acquitter en toute honnêteté. »

A powerful one from among the jinn said, "I will bring it to you before you rise from your place, and indeed, I am for this [task] strong and trustworthy

Un djinn redoutable (‘ifrîtun) lui répondit: Je te l’apporterai bien avant que tu te lèves de la place où tu es. Je dispose de la force nécessaire pour le porter et je suis digne de confiance, puisque je n’en subtiliserai rien.
