Coran 20:69 — sourate Taha, verset 69

وَأَلۡقِ مَا فِي يَمِينِكَ تَلۡقَفۡ مَا صَنَعُوٓاْۖ إِنَّمَا صَنَعُواْ كَيۡدُ سَٰحِرٖۖ وَلَا يُفۡلِحُ ٱلسَّاحِرُ حَيۡثُ أَتَىٰ

Jette ce que tu tiens dans la main droite. Il engloutira tous leurs artifices qui ne sont que des tours de magie. Or, l’entreprise des magiciens, où qu’ils se trouvent, est vouée à l’échec. »

And throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have crafted. What they have crafted is but the trick of a magician, and the magician will not succeed wherever he is

• Noor International Center (fr): Jette ce que tu as dans ta main droite, et (tu le verras) happer tout ce qu’ils ont fait comme artifice. Ce qu’ils viennent de faire comme artifice n’est qu’illusions de magicien. Or le magicien, où qu’il aille, ne saurait prospérer. »
• Hilali & Khan: "And throw that which is in your right hand! It will swallow up that which they have made. That which they have made is only a magician’s trick, and the magician will never be successful, to whatever amount (of skill) he may attain."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Throw what is in your right hand; it will swallow up what they have contrived. They have only contrived a magic trick, and the magician will never prosper, wherever he goes.”

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 20:69

Jette le bâton qui est dans ta main droite et il se muera alors en un serpent qui avalera tout le produit de leur magie. Or leur magie n’a produit qu’une illusion et son auteur ne réussit dans aucune de ses entreprises.
