Coran 19:48 — sourate Maryam, verset 48

وَأَعۡتَزِلُكُمۡ وَمَا تَدۡعُونَ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ وَأَدۡعُواْ رَبِّي عَسَىٰٓ أَلَّآ أَكُونَ بِدُعَآءِ رَبِّي شَقِيّٗا

Je me sépare de vous et des idoles que vous adorez en dehors d’Allah et j’implore les faveurs de mon Seigneur, en espérant ne pas être déçu en L’invoquant. »

And I will leave you and those you invoke other than Allah and will invoke my Lord. I expect that I will not be in invocation to my Lord unhappy

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 19:48

Je m’en vais et délaisse les divinités que vous adorez à la place d’Allah et j’invoquerai Allah Seul sans Lui attribuer d’associé. J’espère qu’Il ne refusera pas de m’exaucer car son refus me rendrait malheureux.
