Coran 18:94 — sourate Al-Kahf, verset 94

قَالُواْ يَٰذَا ٱلۡقَرۡنَيۡنِ إِنَّ يَأۡجُوجَ وَمَأۡجُوجَ مُفۡسِدُونَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَهَلۡ نَجۡعَلُ لَكَ خَرۡجًا عَلَىٰٓ أَن تَجۡعَلَ بَيۡنَنَا وَبَيۡنَهُمۡ سَدّٗا

Ces gens lui demandèrent : « Dhou Al-Qarnayn ! Gog et Magog répandent le mal sur terre. Es-tu disposé à dresser entre ces gens et nous un barrage contre salaire ? »

They said, "O Dhul-Qarnayn, indeed Gog and Magog are [great] corrupters in the land. So may we assign for you an expenditure that you might make between us and them a barrier

• Hilali & Khan: They said: "O Dhul-Qarnain! Verily Ya’jûj and Ma’jûj (Gog and Magog) are doing great mischief in the land. Shall we then pay you a tribute in order that you might erect a barrier between us and them?"
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They said, “O Dhul-Qarnayn, Gog and Magog are spreading corruption in the land. Can we give you some payment in return for you to construct a barrier between us and them?”

Ils dirent: Ô Dhû al-Qarnayn, les Gog (Ya`jûju) et Magog (Ma`jûju) (des peuples humains) sont des corrupteurs sur Terre, ils tuent et commettent d’autres crimes. Pouvons-nous te payer afin que tu établisses un obstacle entre eux et nous?
