Coran 10:90 — sourate Yunus, verset 90

۞وَجَٰوَزۡنَا بِبَنِيٓ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ ٱلۡبَحۡرَ فَأَتۡبَعَهُمۡ فِرۡعَوۡنُ وَجُنُودُهُۥ بَغۡيٗا وَعَدۡوًاۖ حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَآ أَدۡرَكَهُ ٱلۡغَرَقُ قَالَ ءَامَنتُ أَنَّهُۥ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِيٓ ءَامَنَتۡ بِهِۦ بَنُوٓاْ إِسۡرَـٰٓءِيلَ وَأَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلۡمُسۡلِمِينَ

Nous avons fait traverser la mer aux fils d’Israël, suivis par Pharaon et son armée qui, poussés par leur haine et leur iniquité, s’étaient lancés à leur poursuite. Sur le point d’être englouti, Pharaon dit : « Je reconnais qu’il n’est d’autre dieu que Celui auquel croient les fils d’Israël et je suis de ceux qui Lui sont soumis. »

And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him, he said, "I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am of the Muslims

• Noor International Center (fr): Nous fîmes franchir la mer aux Enfants d’Israël. Pharaon et ses soldats les poursuivirent alors, acharnés et hostiles. Quand il fut sur le point de se noyer, (Pharaon) s’écria : « Je crois qu’il n’y a d’autre dieu que Celui en Qui ont cru les Enfants d’Israël, et je suis du nombre des Soumis. »
• Hilali & Khan: And We took the Children of Israel across the sea, and Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) with his hosts followed them in oppression and enmity, till when drowning overtook him, he said: "I believe that none has the right to be worshipped but He (Allâh) in Whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of the Muslims (those who submit to Allâh’s Will)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We led the Children of Israel across the sea, then Pharaoh and his soldiers pursued them out of transgression and tyranny, until when he was drowning, he said, “I believe that none has the right to be worshiped except He in whom the Children of Israel believe, and I am one of those who submit to Allah.”

Tafsir (explication) de ce verset 10:90

Nous avons facilité aux Israélites la traversée de la mer en leur frayant un passage et ils la traversèrent sains et saufs. Mais l’injustice et la transgression de Pharaon et de ses soldats les poussèrent à les rattraper, et ce n’est que lorsque la mer se referma sur lui, qu’il se noya et désespéra de survivre, qu’il dit: Je crois qu’il n’existe pas de dieu méritant d’être adoré en dehors de Celui auquel croient les Israélites. Je me soumets à Allah et lui promet de lui obéir.
