Koran 9:79 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 79

ٱلَّذِينَ يَلۡمِزُونَ ٱلۡمُطَّوِّعِينَ مِنَ ٱلۡمُؤۡمِنِينَ فِي ٱلصَّدَقَٰتِ وَٱلَّذِينَ لَا يَجِدُونَ إِلَّا جُهۡدَهُمۡ فَيَسۡخَرُونَ مِنۡهُمۡ سَخِرَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۡهُمۡ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ أَلِيمٌ

Diejenigen, die gegen die Freiwilligen unter den Gläubigen wegen der Almosen verhöhnen und (auch) gegen diejenigen, die nichts als ihre Mühe (als Leistung zu erbringen) finden, und dann über sie spotten - Allah spottet über sie, und für sie wird es schmerzhafte Strafe geben.

Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] the ones who find nothing [to spend] except their effort, so they ridicule them - Allah will ridicule them, and they will have a painful punishment

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Diejenigen, die gegen die Freiwilligen unter den Gläubigen wegen der Almosen nörgeln und (auch) gegen diejenigen, die nichts als ihre Mühe (als Leistung zu erbringen) finden. So spotten sie über sie - Allah spottet über sie, und für sie gibt es eine schmerzhafte Strafe.
• Hilali & Khan: Those who defame such of the believers who give charity (in Allâh’s Cause) voluntarily, and such who could not find to give charity (in Allâh’s Cause) except what is available to them - so they mock at them (believers); Allâh will throw back their mockery on them, and they shall have a painful torment.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Those who disparage the believers who give charity voluntarily and ridicule those who find nothing to give but their own toil. Allah will ridicule them, and for them there will be a painful punishment.
