Koran 9:55 — Sure At-Tawbah, Vers 55

فَلَا تُعۡجِبۡكَ أَمۡوَٰلُهُمۡ وَلَآ أَوۡلَٰدُهُمۡۚ إِنَّمَا يُرِيدُ ٱللَّهُ لِيُعَذِّبَهُم بِهَا فِي ٱلۡحَيَوٰةِ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَتَزۡهَقَ أَنفُسُهُمۡ وَهُمۡ كَٰفِرُونَ

So sollen dir weder ihr Besitz noch ihre Kinder gefallen. Allah will sie damit ja nur im diesseitigen Leben strafen, und (daß) ihre Seelen (im Tod) dahingehen, während sie ungläubig sind.

So let not their wealth or their children impress you. Allah only intends to punish them through them in worldly life and that their souls should depart [at death] while they are disbelievers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): So sollen dir weder ihr Besitz noch ihre Kinder gefallen. Vielmehr will Allah sie damit im diesseitigen Leben bestrafen, und (dass) ihre Seelen (im Tod) dahinschwinden, während sie Ungläubige sind.
• Hilali & Khan: So let not their wealth nor their children amaze you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم); in reality Allâh’s Plan is to punish them with these things in the life of this world, and that their souls shall depart (die) while they are disbelievers.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): So do not let their wealth or their children impress you; Allah only intends to punish them through these things in the life of this world and to let their souls depart while they are still disbelievers.
