Koran 7:70 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 70

قَالُوٓاْ أَجِئۡتَنَا لِنَعۡبُدَ ٱللَّهَ وَحۡدَهُۥ وَنَذَرَ مَا كَانَ يَعۡبُدُ ءَابَآؤُنَا فَأۡتِنَا بِمَا تَعِدُنَآ إِن كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلصَّـٰدِقِينَ

Sie sagten: Bist du zu uns gekommen, damit wir Allah allein dienen und das verlassen, dem unsere Väter immer gedient haben? Bring uns doch her, was du uns androhst, wenn du zu den Wahrhaftigen gehören solltest!

They said, "Have you come to us that we should worship Allah alone and leave what our fathers have worshipped? Then bring us what you promise us, if you should be of the truthful

• Hilali & Khan: They said: "You have come to us that we should worship Allâh Alone and forsake that which our fathers used to worship. So bring us that wherewith you have threatened us if you are of the truthful."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They said, “Have you come to tell us that we should worship Allah alone and abandon what our forefathers used to worship? Bring upon us what you are threatening us with if you are truthful.”
