Koran 7:51 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 51

ٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُواْ دِينَهُمۡ لَهۡوٗا وَلَعِبٗا وَغَرَّتۡهُمُ ٱلۡحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنۡيَاۚ فَٱلۡيَوۡمَ نَنسَىٰهُمۡ كَمَا نَسُواْ لِقَآءَ يَوۡمِهِمۡ هَٰذَا وَمَا كَانُواْ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَا يَجۡحَدُونَ

die ihre Religion zum Gegenstand der Zerstreuung und des Spiels genommen haben und die das diesseitige Leben getäuscht hat. Heute werden Wir sie vergessen, so wie sie die Begegnung mit diesem ihrem Tag vergaßen und wie sie Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen pflegten.

Who took their religion as distraction and amusement and whom the worldly life deluded." So today We will forget them just as they forgot the meeting of this Day of theirs and for having rejected Our verses

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): die ihre Religion zum Gegenstand der Zerstreuung und des Spiels genommen haben und die das diesseitige Leben getäuscht hat.“ So werden Wir sie heute vergessen, so wie sie die Begegnung mit diesem ihrem Tag vergaßen und wie sie Unsere Zeichen zu verleugnen pflegten.
• Hilali & Khan: "Who took their religion as an amusement and play, and the life of the world deceived them." So this Day We shall forget them as they forgot their meeting of this Day, and as they used to reject Our Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): those who took their religion as amusement and play, and were deceived by the life of this world. Today We will ignore them just as they ignored their meeting of this Day and because they used to reject Our verses.”
