Koran 7:33 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 33

قُلۡ إِنَّمَا حَرَّمَ رَبِّيَ ٱلۡفَوَٰحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنۡهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ وَٱلۡإِثۡمَ وَٱلۡبَغۡيَ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَأَن تُشۡرِكُواْ بِٱللَّهِ مَا لَمۡ يُنَزِّلۡ بِهِۦ سُلۡطَٰنٗا وَأَن تَقُولُواْ عَلَى ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ

Sag: Mein Herr hat nur die Abscheulichkeiten verboten, was von ihnen offen und was verborgen ist; und (auch) die Sünde und die Gewalttätigkeit ohne Recht, und, daß ihr Allah (etwas) beigesellt, wofür Er keine Ermächtigung herabgesandt hat, und daß ihr über Allah (etwas) sagt, was ihr nicht wißt.

Say, "My Lord has only forbidden immoralities - what is apparent of them and what is concealed - and sin, and oppression without right, and that you associate with Allah that for which He has not sent down authority, and that you say about Allah that which you do not know

• Hilali & Khan: Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawâhish (great evil sins and every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allâh for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allâh of which you have no knowledge."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Say, “My Lord has only forbidden shameful acts done openly or in secret, sinfulness, unjustified aggression, associating partners with Allah that for which He has not sent down any authority, and saying about Allah that of which you have no knowledge.”
