Koran 7:31 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 31

۞يَٰبَنِيٓ ءَادَمَ خُذُواْ زِينَتَكُمۡ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسۡجِدٖ وَكُلُواْ وَٱشۡرَبُواْ وَلَا تُسۡرِفُوٓاْۚ إِنَّهُۥ لَا يُحِبُّ ٱلۡمُسۡرِفِينَ

O Kinder Adams, legt euren Schmuck bei jeder Gebetsstätte an und eßt und trinkt, aber seid nicht maßlos! - Er (Allah) liebt nicht die Maßlosen.

O children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess

• Hilali & Khan: O Children of Adam! Take your adornment (by wearing your clean clothes), while praying and going round (the Tawâf of) the Ka‘bah, and eat and drink but waste not by extravagance, certainly He (Allâh) likes not Al-Musrifûn (those who waste by extravagance).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O children of Adam, dress well for every prayer. Eat and drink, but do not waste, for He does not like the wasteful.
