Koran 7:171 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 171

۞وَإِذۡ نَتَقۡنَا ٱلۡجَبَلَ فَوۡقَهُمۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ ظُلَّةٞ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُۥ وَاقِعُۢ بِهِمۡ خُذُواْ مَآ ءَاتَيۡنَٰكُم بِقُوَّةٖ وَٱذۡكُرُواْ مَا فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

Und als Wir den Berg über sie heraushoben, als wäre er ein Schattendach, und sie glaubten, er würde auf sie fallen: Haltet fest an dem, was Wir euch gegeben haben, und gedenkt dessen, was es enthält, auf daß ihr gottesfürchtig werden möget!

And [mention] when We raised the mountain above them as if it was a dark cloud and they were certain that it would fall upon them, [and Allah said], "Take what We have given you with determination and remember what is in it that you might fear Allah

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und (gedenke,) als Wir den Berg über sie heraushoben, als wäre er ein Schattendach, und sie glaubten, er würde auf sie fallen (und Wir sagten): „Nehmt das (fest an euch), was Wir euch gegeben haben, und gedenkt dessen, was es enthält, auf dass ihr (Allah) fürchten möget!“
• Hilali & Khan: And (remember) when We raised the mountain over them as if it had been a canopy, and they thought that it was going to fall on them. (We said): "Hold firmly to what We have given you [i.e. the Taurât (Torah)], and remember that which is therein (act on its commandments), so that you may fear Allâh and obey Him."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And [remember] when We raised the mountain over them as if it were a dark cloud, and they thought that it would fall upon them, “Hold fast to what We have given you and observe its teachings, so that you may fear Allah.”
