Koran 7:130 — Sure Al-A'raf, Vers 130

وَلَقَدۡ أَخَذۡنَآ ءَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنَ بِٱلسِّنِينَ وَنَقۡصٖ مِّنَ ٱلثَّمَرَٰتِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَذَّكَّرُونَ

Und Wir ergriffen ja schon die Leute Fir’auns mit Dürrejahren und Mangel an Früchten, auf daß sie bedenken mögen.

And We certainly seized the people of Pharaoh with years of famine and a deficiency in fruits that perhaps they would be reminded

• Hilali & Khan: And indeed We punished the people of Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) with years of drought and shortness of fruits (crops), that they might remember (take heed).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): We afflicted the people of Pharaoh with famine and poor harvests, so that they may take heed.
