Koran 47:38 — Sure Muhammad, Vers 38

هَـٰٓأَنتُمۡ هَـٰٓؤُلَآءِ تُدۡعَوۡنَ لِتُنفِقُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ فَمِنكُم مَّن يَبۡخَلُۖ وَمَن يَبۡخَلۡ فَإِنَّمَا يَبۡخَلُ عَن نَّفۡسِهِۦۚ وَٱللَّهُ ٱلۡغَنِيُّ وَأَنتُمُ ٱلۡفُقَرَآءُۚ وَإِن تَتَوَلَّوۡاْ يَسۡتَبۡدِلۡ قَوۡمًا غَيۡرَكُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَكُونُوٓاْ أَمۡثَٰلَكُم

Ihr da seid es doch, die ihr aufgerufen werdet, auf Allahs Weg auszugeben. Jedoch gibt es unter euch welche, die geizen. Wer aber geizt, der geizt nur gegen sich selbst. Allah ist der Unbedürftige, ihr aber seid die Bedürftigen. Wenn ihr euch abkehrt, wird Er euch durch ein anderes Volk ersetzen, und sie werden dann nicht gleich euch sein.

Here you are - those invited to spend in the cause of Allah - but among you are those who withhold [out of greed]. And whoever withholds only withholds [benefit] from himself; and Allah is the Free of need, while you are the needy. And if you turn away, He will replace you with another people; then they will not be the likes of you

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Ihr da seid es doch, die ihr aufgerufen werdet, auf dem Weg Allahs auszugeben. So gibt es aber unter euch welche, die geizen. Wer aber geizt, der geizt ja nur gegen sich selbst. Und Allah ist der Unbedürftige, ihr aber seid die Bedürftigen. Wenn ihr euch nun abkehrt, wird Er euch durch ein anderes Volk ersetzen, und sie werden dann nicht euresgleichen sein.
• Hilali & Khan: Behold! You are those who are called to spend in the Cause of Allâh, yet among you are some who are niggardly. And whoever is niggardly, it is only at the expense of his ownself. But Allâh is Rich (Free of all needs), and you (mankind) are poor. And if you turn away (from Islâm and the obedience to Allâh), He will exchange you for some other people and they will not be your likes.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O you who are being called to spend in Allah’s way; among you are some who greedily withhold, but whoever withholds, he in fact withholds against himself, for Allah is the Self-Sufficient, whereas you are in need [of Him]. If you turn away, He will replace you with other people, then they will not be like you.
