Koran 40:35 — Sure Ghafir, Vers 35

ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِيٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيۡرِ سُلۡطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمۡۖ كَبُرَ مَقۡتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْۚ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطۡبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلۡبِ مُتَكَبِّرٖ جَبَّارٖ

Diejenigen, die über Allahs Zeichen streiten, ohne eine Ermächtigung erhalten zu haben, - welch schwerwiegende Abscheu erregen diese bei Allah und bei denjenigen, die gläubig sind. So versiegelt Allah das Herz eines jeden Hochmütigen und Gewalttätigen.

Those who dispute concerning the signs of Allah without an authority having come to them - great is hatred [of them] in the sight of Allah and in the sight of those who have believed. Thus does Allah seal over every heart [belonging to] an arrogant tyrant

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Diejenigen, die über die Zeichen Allahs streiten, ohne eine Ermächtigung erhalten zu haben, - welch schwerwiegende Abscheu erregen diese bei Allah und bei denjenigen, die gläubig sind. Auf diese Weise versiegelt Allah das Herz eines jeden Hochmütigen und Gewalttätigen.
• Hilali & Khan: Those who dispute about the Ayât (proofs, evidence, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allâh, without any authority that has come to them, it is greatly hateful and disgusting to Allâh and to those who believe. Thus does Allâh seal up the heart of every arrogant, tyrant. (So they cannot guide themselves to the Right Path).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): those who argue against Allah’s signs with no proof given to them. How loathsome is that to Allah and to those who believe! This is how Allah seals the heart of every arrogant tyrant.”
