Koran 40:29 — Sure Ghafir, Vers 29

يَٰقَوۡمِ لَكُمُ ٱلۡمُلۡكُ ٱلۡيَوۡمَ ظَٰهِرِينَ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَمَن يَنصُرُنَا مِنۢ بَأۡسِ ٱللَّهِ إِن جَآءَنَاۚ قَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ مَآ أُرِيكُمۡ إِلَّا مَآ أَرَىٰ وَمَآ أَهۡدِيكُمۡ إِلَّا سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ

O mein Volk, es gehört euch heute die Herrschaft, und ihr habt die Oberhand im Land. Wer wird uns dann gegen Allahs Gewalt helfen, wenn sie über uns kommt? Fir’aun sagte: Ich weise euch nur auf das hin, was ich sehe, und leite euch nur den Weg des besonnenen Handelns.

O my people, sovereignty is yours today, [your being] dominant in the land. But who would protect us from the punishment of Allah if it came to us?" Pharaoh said, "I do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct

Wer wird uns aber dann gegen die (strafende) Härte Allahs unterstützen, wenn sie über uns kommt?“ Fir'aun sagte: „Ich weise euch nur auf das hin, was ich sehe, und leite euch nur den Weg des besonnenen Handelns.“
• Hilali & Khan: "O my people! Yours is the kingdom today, you being dominant in the land. But who will save us from the Torment of Allâh, should it befall us?" Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "I show you only that which I see (correct), and I guide you only to the path of right policy!"
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): O my people, the authority is yours today, being dominant in the land. But who would help us against Allah’s punishment, if it came upon us?” Pharaoh said, “I am only telling you what I think is right, and I am only guiding you to the right way.”
