Koran 4:73 — Sure An-Nisa, Vers 73

وَلَئِنۡ أَصَٰبَكُمۡ فَضۡلٞ مِّنَ ٱللَّهِ لَيَقُولَنَّ كَأَن لَّمۡ تَكُنۢ بَيۡنَكُمۡ وَبَيۡنَهُۥ مَوَدَّةٞ يَٰلَيۡتَنِي كُنتُ مَعَهُمۡ فَأَفُوزَ فَوۡزًا عَظِيمٗا

Wenn euch aber Huld von Allah zuteil wird, sagt er ganz gewiß, als ob zwischen euch und ihm keine Freundschaft bestanden hätte: „O wäre ich doch mit ihnen zugegen gewesen! Dann hätte ich einen großartigen Erfolg erzielt.

But if bounty comes to you from Allah, he will surely say, as if there had never been between you and him any affection. "Oh, I wish I had been with them so I could have attained a great attainment

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Wenn euch aber eine Huld von Allah zuteil wird, sagt er ja gewiss, als ob zwischen euch und ihm keine Freundschaft bestanden hätte: „O wäre ich doch mit ihnen zugegen gewesen! So hätte ich einen gewaltigen Erfolg erzielt.“
• Hilali & Khan: But if a bounty (victory and booty) comes to you from Allâh, he would surely say - as if there had never been ties of affection between you and him - "Oh! I wish I had been with them; then I would have achieved a great success (a good share of booty)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): But if some bounty comes to you from Allah, he will surely say – as if there had never been any affection between you and him – “Oh, I wish I had been with them, so I could have made a great gain.”
