Koran 36:74 — Sure Ya-Sin, Vers 74

وَٱتَّخَذُواْ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ ءَالِهَةٗ لَّعَلَّهُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ

Und sie haben sich anstatt Allahs Götter genommen, auf daß sie Hilfe finden mögen.

But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped

• Hilali & Khan: And they have taken besides Allâh âlihah (gods), hoping that they might be helped (by those so-called gods).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Yet they have taken other gods besides Allah, hoping that they may be helped.
