Koran 28:72 — Sure Al-Qasas, Vers 72

قُلۡ أَرَءَيۡتُمۡ إِن جَعَلَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلنَّهَارَ سَرۡمَدًا إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ مَنۡ إِلَٰهٌ غَيۡرُ ٱللَّهِ يَأۡتِيكُم بِلَيۡلٖ تَسۡكُنُونَ فِيهِۚ أَفَلَا تُبۡصِرُونَ

Sag: Was meint ihr, wenn Allah auf euch den Tag als Dauerzustand legen würde bis zum Tag der Auferstehung, wer wäre (dann) Gott außer Allah, Der euch eine Nacht bringen würde, in der ihr ruht? Wollt ihr denn nicht einsichtig sein?

Say, "Have you considered: if Allah should make for you the day continuous until the Day of Resurrection, what deity other than Allah could bring you a night in which you may rest? Then will you not see

• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Say, “What do you think, if Allah were to make the day perpetual for you until the Day of Resurrection, which god other than Allah could bring you night to rest in? Do you not then see?”
