Koran 28:50 — Sure Al-Qasas, Vers 50

فَإِن لَّمۡ يَسۡتَجِيبُواْ لَكَ فَٱعۡلَمۡ أَنَّمَا يَتَّبِعُونَ أَهۡوَآءَهُمۡۚ وَمَنۡ أَضَلُّ مِمَّنِ ٱتَّبَعَ هَوَىٰهُ بِغَيۡرِ هُدٗى مِّنَ ٱللَّهِۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِي ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ

Wenn sie nicht auf dich hören, so wisse, daß sie nur ihren Neigungen folgen. Und wer ist weiter abgeirrt als jemand, der seiner Neigung folgt ohne Rechtleitung von Allah. Gewiß, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.

But if they do not respond to you - then know that they only follow their [own] desires. And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Wenn sie nun nicht auf dich hören, so wisse, dass sie nur ihren Neigungen folgen. Und wer ist weiter abgeirrt als jemand, der seiner Neigung folgt ohne Rechtleitung von Allah? Wahrlich, Allah leitet das ungerechte Volk nicht recht.
• Hilali & Khan: But if they answer you not (i.e. do not bring the Book nor believe in your doctrine of Islâmic Monotheism), then know that they only follow their own lusts. And who is more astray than one who follows his own lusts, without guidance from Allâh? Verily Allâh guides not the people who are Zâlimûn (wrong-doers, disobedient to Allâh, and polytheists).
