Koran 28:38 — Sure Al-Qasas, Vers 38

وَقَالَ فِرۡعَوۡنُ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلۡمَلَأُ مَا عَلِمۡتُ لَكُم مِّنۡ إِلَٰهٍ غَيۡرِي فَأَوۡقِدۡ لِي يَٰهَٰمَٰنُ عَلَى ٱلطِّينِ فَٱجۡعَل لِّي صَرۡحٗا لَّعَلِّيٓ أَطَّلِعُ إِلَىٰٓ إِلَٰهِ مُوسَىٰ وَإِنِّي لَأَظُنُّهُۥ مِنَ ٱلۡكَٰذِبِينَ

Und Fir’aun sagte: „O ihr führende Schar, keinen anderen Gott weiß ich für euch als mich (selbst). So entfache mir, o Haman, einen Brand auf Lehm, und mache mir einen Hochbau, auf daß ich zum Gott Musas emporsteige. Ich glaube fürwahr, daß er zu den Lügnern gehört.

And Pharaoh said, "O eminent ones, I have not known you to have a god other than me. Then ignite for me, O Haman, [a fire] upon the clay and make for me a tower that I may look at the God of Moses. And indeed, I do think he is among the liars

So entfache mir, o Haman, einen Brand auf Lehm, und mache mir einen Hochbau, auf dass ich zum Angebeteten Musas emporsteige. Ich glaube jedoch, dass er fürwahr zu den Lügnern gehört.“
• Hilali & Khan: Fir‘aun (Pharaoh) said: "O chiefs! I know not that you have an ilâh (a god) other than me. So kindle for me (a fire), O Hâmân, to bake (bricks out of) clay, and set up for me a Sarh (a lofty tower, or palace) in order that I may look at (or look for) the Ilâh (God) of Mûsâ (Moses); and verily, I think that he [Mûsâ (Moses)] is one of the liars."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Pharaoh said, “O chiefs, I do not know for you any god other than myself. So bake for me bricks out of clay, O Hāmān, and build for me a tower so that I may have a look at the God of Moses, for I think he is a liar.”
