Koran 27:42 — Sure An-Naml, Vers 42

فَلَمَّا جَآءَتۡ قِيلَ أَهَٰكَذَا عَرۡشُكِۖ قَالَتۡ كَأَنَّهُۥ هُوَۚ وَأُوتِينَا ٱلۡعِلۡمَ مِن قَبۡلِهَا وَكُنَّا مُسۡلِمِينَ

Als sie kam, wurde (zu ihr) gesagt: „Ist dein Thron so (wie dieser hier)? Sie sagte: „Es ist so, als ob er es sei. (Sulaiman sagte:) „Und uns wurde schon davor das Wissen gegeben, und wir waren (Allah) ergeben.

So when she arrived, it was said [to her], "Is your throne like this?" She said, "[It is] as though it was it." [Solomon said], "And we were given knowledge before her, and we have been Muslims [in submission to Allah]

• Hilali & Khan: So when she came, it was said (to her): "Is your throne like this?" She said: "(It is) as though it were the very same." And [Sulaimân (Solomon) said]: "Knowledge was bestowed on us before her, and we were submitted to Allâh (in Islâm as Muslims before her)."
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): So when she came, she was asked, “Is your throne like this?” She said, “It looks as if it is the same. We were given knowledge beforehand, and have submitted [to Allah].”
