Koran 24:55 — Sure An-Nur, Vers 55

وَعَدَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ مِنكُمۡ وَعَمِلُواْ ٱلصَّـٰلِحَٰتِ لَيَسۡتَخۡلِفَنَّهُمۡ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ كَمَا ٱسۡتَخۡلَفَ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِهِمۡ وَلَيُمَكِّنَنَّ لَهُمۡ دِينَهُمُ ٱلَّذِي ٱرۡتَضَىٰ لَهُمۡ وَلَيُبَدِّلَنَّهُم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ خَوۡفِهِمۡ أَمۡنٗاۚ يَعۡبُدُونَنِي لَا يُشۡرِكُونَ بِي شَيۡـٔٗاۚ وَمَن كَفَرَ بَعۡدَ ذَٰلِكَ فَأُوْلَـٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلۡفَٰسِقُونَ

Allah hat denjenigen von euch, die glauben und rechtschaffene Werke tun, versprochen, daß Er sie ganz gewiß als Statthalter auf der Erde einsetzen wird, so wie Er diejenigen, die vor ihnen waren, als Statthalter einsetzte, daß Er für sie ihrer Religion, der Er für sie zugestimmt hat, ganz gewiß eine feste Stellung verleihen wird, und daß Er ihnen nach ihrer Angst (, in der sie gelebt haben,) statt dessen ganz gewiß Sicherheit gewähren wird. Sie dienen Mir und gesellen Mir nichts bei. Wer aber danach ungläubig ist, jene sind die (wahren) Frevler.

Allah has promised those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds that He will surely grant them succession [to authority] upon the earth just as He granted it to those before them and that He will surely establish for them [therein] their religion which He has preferred for them and that He will surely substitute for them, after their fear, security, [for] they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that - then those are the defiantly disobedient

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Allah hat denjenigen von euch, die glauben und rechtschaffene Taten verrichten, versprochen, dass Er sie ganz gewiss als Statthalter auf der Erde einsetzen wird, so wie Er diejenigen, die vor ihnen waren, als Statthalter einsetzte, dass Er für sie ihrer Religion, mit der Er für sie zufrieden ist, ganz gewiss eine feste Stellung verleihen wird, und dass Er ihnen nach ihrer Angst (, in der sie gelebt haben,) statt dessen dies ganz gewiss in Sicherheit austauschen wird. Sie dienen Mir und gesellen Mir nichts bei. Wer aber danach ungläubig ist, so sind jene die (wahren) Frevler.
• Hilali & Khan: Allâh has promised those among you who believe and do righteous good deeds, that He will certainly grant them succession to (the present rulers) in the land, as He granted it to those before them, and that He will grant them the authority to practise their religion which He has chosen for them (i.e. Islâm). And He will surely give them in exchange a safe security after their fear (provided) they (believers) worship Me and do not associate anything (in worship) with Me. But whoever disbelieves after this, they are the Fâsiqûn (rebellious, disobedient to Allâh).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Allah has promised those among you who believe and do righteous deeds that He will make them successors in the land, as He made those who came before them, and He will surely establish for them their religion which He has chosen for them, and He will surely change their state of fear into security; that they worship Me, not associating anything with Me. But whoever disbelieves after that, it is they who are the rebellious.
