Koran 22:9 — Sure Al-Hajj, Vers 9

ثَانِيَ عِطۡفِهِۦ لِيُضِلَّ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِۖ لَهُۥ فِي ٱلدُّنۡيَا خِزۡيٞۖ وَنُذِيقُهُۥ يَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ عَذَابَ ٱلۡحَرِيقِ

indem er sich (hochmütig) zur Seite wendet, um von Allahs Weg in die Irre zu führen. Schande gibt es für ihn im Diesseits, und Wir lassen ihn am Tag der Auferstehung die Strafe des Brennens kosten.

Twisting his neck [in arrogance] to mislead [people] from the way of Allah. For him in the world is disgrace, and We will make him taste on the Day of Resurrection the punishment of the Burning Fire [while it is said]

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): indem er (hochmütig) seinen Hals zur Seite wendet, um vom Weg Allahs in die Irre zu führen. Ihm steht im Diesseits Schande zu, und Wir lassen ihn am Tag der Auferstehung die Strafe des Feuerbrandes kosten.
• Hilali & Khan: Bending his neck in pride (far astray from the Path of Allâh), and leading (others) too (far) astray from the Path of Allâh. For him there is disgrace in this worldly life, and on the Day of Resurrection We shall make him taste the torment of burning (Fire).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): They turn their faces away [in arrogance] to lead people away from Allah’s way. For them there will be disgrace in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection We will make them taste the punishment of the burning fire.
