Koran 2:72 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 72

وَإِذۡ قَتَلۡتُمۡ نَفۡسٗا فَٱدَّـٰرَ ٰٔتُمۡ فِيهَاۖ وَٱللَّهُ مُخۡرِجٞ مَّا كُنتُمۡ تَكۡتُمُونَ

Und (gedenkt,) als ihr jemanden getötet hattet und euch darüber strittet; und Allah wollte herausbringen, was ihr verborgen hieltet.

And [recall] when you slew a man and disputed over it, but Allah was to bring out that which you were concealing

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und (gedenkt,) als ihr jemanden getötet hattet und ihr (alle) die Schuld daran von euch wiest. Und Allah bringt (ja) heraus, was ihr zu verbergen pflegtet.
• Hilali & Khan: And (remember) when you killed a man and fell into dispute among yourselves as to the crime. But Allâh brought forth that which you were hiding.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): And [remember] when you [Israelites] slew a man and disputed as to who the killer was, but Allah exposed what you were concealing.
