Koran 2:71 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 71

قَالَ إِنَّهُۥ يَقُولُ إِنَّهَا بَقَرَةٞ لَّا ذَلُولٞ تُثِيرُ ٱلۡأَرۡضَ وَلَا تَسۡقِي ٱلۡحَرۡثَ مُسَلَّمَةٞ لَّا شِيَةَ فِيهَاۚ قَالُواْ ٱلۡـَٰٔنَ جِئۡتَ بِٱلۡحَقِّۚ فَذَبَحُوهَا وَمَا كَادُواْ يَفۡعَلُونَ

Er sagte: „Er (Allah) sagt, es soll eine Kuh sein, nicht fügsam gemacht durch Pflügen der Erde noch durch Bewässern von Saatfeld, fehlerfrei und makellos! Sie sagten: „Jetzt bist du mit der Wahrheit gekommen. So schlachteten sie sie, doch beinahe hätten sie es nicht getan.

He said, "He says, 'It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor to irrigate the field, one free from fault with no spot upon her.' " They said, "Now you have come with the truth." So they slaughtered her, but they could hardly do it

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Er sagte: „Er (also Allah) sagt: ‚Es soll eine Kuh sein, die weder fügsam gemacht wurde durch Pflügen der Erde noch durch Bewässern des Saatfelds, (sie ist) fehlerfrei und ohne Farbmischung!‘“ Sie sagten: „Jetzt bist du mit der Wahrheit gekommen.“ So schlachteten sie sie, doch beinahe hätten sie es nicht getan.
• Hilali & Khan: He [Mûsâ (Moses)] said, "He says, ‘It is a cow neither trained to till the soil nor water the fields, sound, having no other colour except bright yellow.’ " They said, "Now you have brought the truth." So they slaughtered it though they were near to not doing it.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): He said, “Allah says, ‘It is a cow neither trained to plow the earth nor water the field; sound, without blemish.’” They said, “Now you have come with the truth.” Then they slaughtered it, although they were almost not doing it.
