Koran 2:7 — Sure Al-Baqarah, Vers 7

خَتَمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ قُلُوبِهِمۡ وَعَلَىٰ سَمۡعِهِمۡۖ وَعَلَىٰٓ أَبۡصَٰرِهِمۡ غِشَٰوَةٞۖ وَلَهُمۡ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٞ

Allah hat ihre Herzen und ihr Gehör versiegelt, über ihrem Augenlicht befindet sich eine Hülle. Für sie wird es gewaltige Strafe geben.

Allah has set a seal upon their hearts and upon their hearing, and over their vision is a veil. And for them is a great punishment

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Allah hat ihre Herzen versiegelt und (auch) ihr Gehör, und über ihrem Augenlicht befindet sich eine Hülle. Und für sie wird es eine gewaltige Strafe geben.
• Hilali & Khan: Allâh has set a seal on their hearts and on their hearing, (i.e. they are closed from accepting Allâh’s Guidance), and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be a great torment.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered; and for them there will be a great punishment.
