Koran 17:78 — Sure Al-Isra, Vers 78

أَقِمِ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ لِدُلُوكِ ٱلشَّمۡسِ إِلَىٰ غَسَقِ ٱلَّيۡلِ وَقُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِۖ إِنَّ قُرۡءَانَ ٱلۡفَجۡرِ كَانَ مَشۡهُودٗا

Verrichte das Gebet beim Neigen der Sonne bis zum Dunkel der Nacht, und (auch) die (Qur’an-)Lesung (in) der Morgendämmerung. Gewiß, die (Qur’an-)Lesung (in) der Morgendämmerung wird (von den Engeln) bezeugt.

Establish prayer at the decline of the sun [from its meridian] until the darkness of the night and [also] the Qur'an of dawn. Indeed, the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Verrichte das Gebet beim Neigen der Sonne bis zum (Erscheinen) der Dunkelheit der Nacht, und (auch) die Quranlesung (in) der Morgendämmerung. Wahrlich, die Quranlesung (in) der Morgendämmerung wird (von den Engeln) bezeugt.
• Hilali & Khan: Perform As-Salât (Iqamât-as-Salât) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, ‘Asr, Maghrib and ‘Ishâ’ prayers), and recite the Qur’ân in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Qur’ân in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Establish prayer at the decline of the sun until the darkness of the night, and the recitation of dawn [prayer], for the recitation of dawn is ever witnessed [by the angels].
