Koran 17:62 — Sure Al-Isra, Vers 62

قَالَ أَرَءَيۡتَكَ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِي كَرَّمۡتَ عَلَيَّ لَئِنۡ أَخَّرۡتَنِ إِلَىٰ يَوۡمِ ٱلۡقِيَٰمَةِ لَأَحۡتَنِكَنَّ ذُرِّيَّتَهُۥٓ إِلَّا قَلِيلٗا

Er sagte: „Was meinst Du wohl von diesem, den Du höher geehrt hast als mich? Wenn Du mich bis zum Tag der Auferstehung zurückstellst, werde ich seiner Nachkommenschaft bis auf wenige ganz gewiß die Zügel anlegen.

• Hilali & Khan: [Iblîs (Satan)] said: "See this one whom You have honoured above me, if You give me respite (keep me alive) to the Day of Resurrection, I will surely seize and mislead his offspring (by sending them astray) all but a few!"
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): He added, “Do You see this one whom You have honored above me? If you give me respite until the Day of Resurrection, I will surely overpower his offspring, except for a few.”
