Koran 16:36 — Sure An-Nahl, Vers 36

وَلَقَدۡ بَعَثۡنَا فِي كُلِّ أُمَّةٖ رَّسُولًا أَنِ ٱعۡبُدُواْ ٱللَّهَ وَٱجۡتَنِبُواْ ٱلطَّـٰغُوتَۖ فَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ هَدَى ٱللَّهُ وَمِنۡهُم مَّنۡ حَقَّتۡ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلضَّلَٰلَةُۚ فَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَٱنظُرُواْ كَيۡفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلۡمُكَذِّبِينَ

Und Wir haben ja bereits in jeder Gemeinschaft einen Gesandten erweckt: Dient Allah und meidet die falschen Götter. Unter ihnen gibt es manche, die Allah rechtgeleitet hat, und unter ihnen gibt es manche, an denen sich das Irregehen bewahrheitet hat. So reist auf der Erde umher und schaut, wie das Ende der Leugner war.

And We certainly sent into every nation a messenger, [saying], "Worship Allah and avoid Taghut." And among them were those whom Allah guided, and among them were those upon whom error was [deservedly] decreed. So proceed through the earth and observe how was the end of the deniers

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Und Wir haben ja bereits in jeder Gemeinschaft einen Gesandten entsandt (, der sagte): „Dient Allah und meidet den Taghut (also die falschen Gottheiten).“ So gibt es unter ihnen manche, die Allah rechtgeleitet hat, und unter ihnen gibt es manche, an denen sich das Irregehen bewahrheitet hat. So geht auf der Erde umher und schaut, wie das Ende der Leugner war.
• Hilali & Khan: And verily, We have sent among every Ummah (community, nation) a Messenger (proclaiming): "Worship Allâh (Alone), and avoid (or keep away from) Tâghût (all false deities i.e. do not worship Tâghût besides Allâh)." Then of them were some whom Allâh guided and of them were some upon whom the straying was justified. So travel through the land and see what was the end of those who denied (the truth).
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Indeed, We sent to every community a messenger, [saying], “Worship Allah and shun false gods.” Among them were some whom Allah guided, while others were destined to stray. So travel through the land and see how was the end of the deniers!
