Koran 12:19 — Sure Yusuf, Vers 19

وَجَآءَتۡ سَيَّارَةٞ فَأَرۡسَلُواْ وَارِدَهُمۡ فَأَدۡلَىٰ دَلۡوَهُۥۖ قَالَ يَٰبُشۡرَىٰ هَٰذَا غُلَٰمٞۚ وَأَسَرُّوهُ بِضَٰعَةٗۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلِيمُۢ بِمَا يَعۡمَلُونَ

Reisende kamen vorbei. Sie sandten ihren Wasserschöpfer, und er ließ seinen Eimer hinunter. Er sagte: O frohe Botschaft! Da ist ein Junge. Sie verbargen ihn als Ware. Und Allah wußte wohl, was sie taten.

And there came a company of travelers; then they sent their water drawer, and he let down his bucket. He said, "Good news! Here is a boy." And they concealed him, [taking him] as merchandise; and Allah was knowing of what they did

• Rowwad Translation Center (de): Es kamen dann Reisende vorbei. Da sandten sie ihren Wasserschöpfer, und er ließ dann seinen Eimer hinunter. Er sagte: „O frohe Botschaft! Das ist ein Junge.“ Und sie verbargen ihn als eine Ware. Und Allah ist wohlwissend, was sie taten.
• Hilali & Khan: And there came a caravan of travellers and they sent their water-drawer, and he let down his bucket (into the well). He said: "What good news! Here is a boy." So they hid him as merchandise (a slave). And Allâh was the All-Knower of what they did.
• Rowwad Translation Center (en): Some travelers came and sent their water fetcher, who lowered his bucket into the well. He cried out, “Oh, what good news; here is a boy!” They kept him hidden as merchandise, but Allah is All-Knowing of what they did.
